Mayfly Emerging

My apologies for the fishing reference. But it is spring and my mind is starting to drift towards trout streams.

At this point in a build, things seem to happen quickly. What was a bunch of individual pieces of wood, suddenly become an instrument.

Fitting the neck dovetail joint

Dry fit of all the pieces. The neck carve will come next. This one will be complete and ready for finish spraying just as the spring temperatures get to a place where I can open the shop doors and spray.
