Accidents Do Happen - Dropped Telecaster Repair

Just finished up this finish repair on a Telecaster. This was dropped by the owner's friend and needed some attention to make things right. Also did a full set up, so it's ready for it's next adventures!

Here's a shot of the damage to the lower bout. Very thick finish, cracked all the way to the body wood.

I matched the color with GluBoost Fill and Finish toners. The challenge was the sides were almost opaque blue, while the top was translucent. So some careful color matching as I built up the finish.

And the final result. Still some witness lines where the fill and original finish meet. But from a few feet away you don't see any damage.
